Background
The
Coalition for Family Justice is a grassroots, gender neutral,
501(c)3 nonprofit organization, founded in 1988 and headquartered in
Irvington, New York. CFJ is run by volunteers who are dedicated to
promoting justice in marital and family matters and to raising
awareness of problems families experience in the divorce and family
court system.
The Coalition is dedicated
to working for legal and judicial reforms to make the system more
family friendly. In addition to seeking reform, the Coalition is
dedicated to empowering, educating, and providing support and
resources to families in crisis because of the legal system and
impoverished by divorce and other domestic relations
matters.
Our leadership includes gifted and empowered women
and men who have seen and/or experienced deep injustices in the
courts and work side by side to improve the judicial
system.
